Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

About the Community

What is The Golden Circle?

The Golden Circle is a community for people aged close to 50 and beyond who believe that life continues to evolve, expand, and offer new possibilities.

It is a space to connect, learn, share experiences, discover new interests, and build meaningful relationships with like-minded people.

Joining & Eligibility

Who can join The Golden Circle?

Anyone aged 45+ who is open to learning, growing, connecting, and contributing to a positive community environment.

Is The Golden Circle only for retired people?

Not at all. However, we would gladly welcome people who are enjoying retired life.

Our members include professionals, entrepreneurs, homemakers, consultants, retired individuals, and people exploring new directions in life.

Do I need to be highly social to join?

No.

Some members enjoy participating actively, while others prefer to observe, learn, and engage at their own pace.

There is no pressure to "fit in."

Activities & Participation

What kind of activities do you organize?

Activities may include both online and offline activities:

  • Personal growth and emotional wellbeing sessions
  • Health and wellness discussions
  • Technology and AI learning sessions
  • Book clubs and movie discussions
  • Games, quizzes, and recreational activities
  • Travel and exploration opportunities
  • Storytelling and Human Library sessions
  • Coffee meetups and social gatherings
  • Workshops led by experts and community members
Are activities online or offline?

Both.

We host online activities to include members from different cities and countries, while offline events are organized through local city chapters whenever possible.

I live outside India. Can I still join?

Absolutely.

Many of our activities are designed to include members from different countries and time zones.

Chapters & Community

How do city chapters work?

As the community grows, local chapters may be formed in different cities based on a minimum member count, active participation, and interest.

Each chapter may host its own meetups and activities while remaining part of the Golden Circle Administration Team.

All meetups must adhere to the protocols and involvement of the main Golden Circle core team.

Why doesn't every city have a separate WhatsApp group?

A community grows through participation, not through the number of groups created.

Separate city groups are created when there is sufficient member engagement and activity to sustain meaningful conversations and events.

Can I suggest activities?

Yes.

Member suggestions are always welcome.

Many of our future activities may be inspired and led by community members themselves.

Can I volunteer or lead an activity?

We would love that.

The strongest communities are built by members who contribute their time, experience, skills, and ideas.

If you would like to volunteer, mentor, host a discussion, teach a skill, or organize an activity, please contact the admins.

Payments & Safety

Why are some activities paid?

While the community itself focuses on connection and engagement, certain activities involve venue costs, facilitators, materials, technology, logistics, or specialized expertise.

Paid events help us maintain quality experiences and ensure sustainability.

Do I have to attend every event?

Not at all.

Participate in whatever feels relevant and meaningful to you.

The Golden Circle is designed to enrich your life, not add pressure to it.

What if I join but don't know anyone?

Most members start that way.

The purpose of The Golden Circle is to create opportunities for genuine conversations and meaningful connections.

What makes The Golden Circle different?

We believe life after 50 is not about slowing down.

It's about continuing to learn, contribute, explore, and build meaningful relationships.

The Golden Circle isn't just a community.

It's a reminder that some of life's most fulfilling chapters are still waiting to be written.

What do members get out of it?

Different things.

Some find friendship.

Some discover new interests.

Some learn new skills.

Some find purpose.

Some simply enjoy being around people who understand this phase of life.

Most discover that they still have far more to experience, share, and contribute than they ever imagined.
